Dr. Shehata is a licensed Physical Therapist by Florida and New York states. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Cairo University, Eg, and a Post- Professional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro College, New York. Dr. Shehata has been practicing for over 15 years, with extensive education and clinical training, knowledge, and experience, He became among the top physical therapists in Tampa Bay area. He possesses a deep knowledge of human biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and pathology which enables him to help a wide variety of Neuromuscular conditions. Dr. Shehata has an extensive background in treating Orthopedic conditions including spine and extremities, Sports Medicine, Enhanced performance in collegiate and professional Athletes, Balance and fall prevention training, Manual Therapy Techniques in the treatment of Spinal Pathology, Pre and Post Surgical rehabilitation with facilitation of speedy recovery. He is a certified Dry Needling specialist by the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy, He is also a Credentialed Clinical Instructor certified by the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Shehata has been practicing an evidence-based, Patient-centered approach with a strong emphasis on Achieving patient’s goals, Patient education, Therapeutic exercises, Functional training, Postural/core stability training, and Functional manual therapy to restore normal body function. Dr. Shehata is a strong believer in the power of Physical Therapy and has helped many patients over the years to achieve their goals, relieve their aches, and has helped many of them avoiding unnecessary treatments such as surgeries and injections.
Alexandra has been working in the customer service field for three years and She’s also pursuing a degree in Nursing, driven by a desire to provide care and support to those in need. She graduated from Countryside High School in 2025 and by summer 2027 she will be starting the St. Petersburg College Nursing Program. Outside of work and studies she enjoys going to the beach, Pilates, walking in the park, reading, fishing, cooking new recipes, hanging out with her friends, family, and traveling. With her passion and interests, she strives to bring a positive contribution to Trust Physical Therapy and continue to provide help to other people to meet their needs and grow in meaningful ways.
