Foot Pain

WHAT IS CAUSING MY FOOT PAIN?

Foot pain can be agonizing. You’re always on your feet, so when they ache and cause you pain, your quality of life suffers. This type of pain is common for walkers, runners and individuals who wear shoes without ample support.

If you suffer from mild foot pain, it may be improved with stretching and wearing comfortable, supportive shoes. If severe, however, medical action may be required. It may be time to come see us if you are experiencing any of the following with your foot pain:
• Difficulty walking up stairs
• Swelling
• Pain in the arch, heel, toes or while walking/standing up
• Weakness

The causes of foot pain can be widespread. When we see individuals for this particular ailment, we meticulously examine the foot to determine the source of the pain. Possible reasons for foot pain include but are not limited to:
• Arthritis (many forms)
• Bone spurs
• Breaks/fractures
• Plantar fasciitis
• Sprains
• Stress fractures
• Tendinitis
